Corten B is a high-strength low-alloy weathering steel designed for structural applications exposed to outdoor atmospheric conditions. It develops a stable protective oxide layer (緑青) that significantly improves corrosion resistance and reduces the need for painting or coating.
Compared with decorative weathering steels, Corten B is optimized for higher strength, better structural performance, and heavy-duty engineering use.
