Chromium carbide overlay wear plate (placa CCO) is a composite steel plate produced by depositing a high-chromium carbide alloy layer onto a carbon steel or low-alloy steel base. Its performance is defined primarily by its surface layer characteristics, which directly determine wear resistance and service life.
Compared with ordinary steel plates, the surface of CCO plates has a completely different microstructure and mechanical behavior.
