7Mn15Cr2Al3V2WMo is a high-performance non-magnetic alloy steel in the Mo-V system, engineered to maintain a stable austenitic structure across various working conditions. It features an ultra-low magnetic permeability, along with high hardness, exceptional strength, and excellent wear resistance, making it ideal for precision components operating in strong magnetic environments.
This alloy addresses the traditional machining challenges of high-manganese steel, which typically work-hardens during cutting. By applying a high-temperature annealing process, the carbide size, shape, and distribution can be optimized—greatly enhancing the steel’s machinability. Additionally, a gas soft oxidation treatment can be applied to increase surface hardness and wear resistance, significantly extending component service life.
