Surfacing Composite Wear-Resistant Plates
Mounting Methods for Surfacing Composite Wear-Resistant Plates
Surfacing composite wear-resistant plates are widely used in modern industry due to their durability. However, their installation and mounting can be challenging. Here are three recommended methods for installing these plates:
1. Bolt Fixing
In the bolt fixing method, bolts are welded to the base metal of the steel plate, allowing them to connect to other components. Alternatively, holes can be made in the wear-resistant steel plate, and bolts are then used to secure the plate to other workpieces.
2. Welding
For large composite steel plates, welding is an effective method. When two steel plates need to be joined, the back base material is welded together first. Then, the front surfacing layer is filled using the appropriate surfacing electrode. Wear-resistant steel plates can also be welded to other steel structures.
3. Plug Welding
Plug welding involves using plasma or carbon arc gouging to create holes in the wear-resistant steel plate. The plate is then connected to other steel structural parts using plug welding.
These three methods are commonly used for installing surfacing composite wear-resistant plates. If you have specific requirements, please contact us for customized installation solutions.
