Ordinary wear-resistant materials, typically low-alloy high-strength wear-resistant steel, often fail to meet the needs of anchor miners. This type of steel features a tempered martensite microstructure, providing high strength, good toughness, and wear resistance.
Composition and Characteristics
- Thickness and Welding Performance: The steel plates used in the loading mechanism are over 20 mm thick. The welding performance is assessed using the carbon equivalent (CE), calculated with the formula:CE=C+Mn6+Si24+Ni15+Cr5+Mo4+Cu13+P2\text{CE} = C + \frac{Mn}{6} + \frac{Si}{24} + \frac{Ni}{15} + \frac{Cr}{5} + \frac{Mo}{4} + \frac{Cu}{13} + \frac{P}{2}Using this formula, the carbon equivalent is 0.547%. To enhance wear resistance, wear-resistant welding rods can be used for local surfacing.
